Getting ready.

It’s raining here. We need the rain. There is something about the rain. It drops. Little splashes of water hit the pavement and disperse. It washes and removes the day’s residue.  I am packing for the singles conference at The Village. I am listening to my itunes library and I am trying to not skip…

Kristin Weber - I couldn’t resist commenting. I was writing a blog about church singles conferences and was looking for an image for the blog and typed in “singles conferences” into google image and yours was one of the ones that popped up, and I saw Village Singles Conference, which is the church I go to, and I went to that conference.

Small world…except it’s not cause the village is huge. Anyhow, just thought you would like to know your picture is all over the web =)

I skip my i-pod, radio station, etc. too. Like a crazy amount.

angey price - Doesn’t matter what shoes you’re wearing when Wonder Woman is on your shirt!!! She rocks!! And so do you!! I love and miss you, Cookie!!!!

Sam Jones - I feel this way all the time about my paintings, my pottery, my art & my music. You can do it sister! The LORD has put His heart in You. You were “created to create” as I like to say about myself. Love you.

Let me be honest.

I have had a cold for about a week. When I get sick, I think. I lay around and think. Last week all I could think about was failure and my fears of it and how hard it is to admit when you are wrong or weak.  It is so hard to admit when you…

The weather made me do it.

Today started out as one of those days. Maybe I could say that the weather made me do it.. or maybe it was listening to this song on repeat, or maybe it was waking up at 4:30am only to retreat fully dressed in my Starbucks attire back into my 600 thread count sheets that were…

My first.

It’s official. I am one week old. Today I am celebrating it. A not so stranger. » Kristin Shyla - [...] So. How often do you start your sentences or thoughts off with so?  I think I do it often. The word itself is used either as a conjunction or and adverb. Meaning to a degree or thus. I like that. So, I received a gift from a reader a few weeks ago. This wasn’t just any reader, but it was my very “first stranger reader”. [...]

Savoring Moments

Savoring moments. Breathing in the air. Sitting in a chair. Looking up. Walking through doors. Opening doors. Smiling a lot. Running. Saying hello. Sipping a slurpee. Giving a hug. Laughing even more. A desire to jump around and do a series of toe-touches are around every corner. Floating on a cloud, carrying balloons and eating…
