Casey and I went to the Congo in October to rescue her two newest ones, Evie & Ezra. Some of you followed us… Whew. One week down. I can’t even begin to put into words at this moment what each and every day is like here. Some days are awful and awesome in the same minutes and in those moments I am inspired, crying and make pledges of change for myself for when I get back to the… no comments I am coasting. You know how you put your car into neutral and whatever power is left is what you depend on to get you to your destination. Sometimes it is just the end of the street. Yesterday I was a mere 48 hours away from boarding a plane, heading off into the day and… 1 comment OMG honey…..you couldn’t have said it better. Keep your eyes open!!!! I will be praying for you! lindsey b. - these photos are so amazing- i hear so many people say they “don’t have room” in their quarter of a million dollar houses for more than one or two kids. surely they have more room & more love compared to dirt floors & starving bellies. those little cheeks are just as kissable as their biological childrens’. God is bending my selfish heart toward adoption more & more. i hope He will be merciful towards our thinking that changing one tiny life isn’t enough to “make a difference.”
