Great stories and new friendships are found over coffee. I am a huge coffee head and as of now I work at Starbucks in downtown Fort Worth in the mornings. It was in the early morning hours 5 days a week that I got to become friends with the Lanes. Shannon wasn’t a customer interaction that later became a facebook status. He was my shift supervisor.
Not only was he my shift supervisor, he was a student at Southwestern Seminary while working two other jobs. Shannon faithfully came in at 5:30am and during Super Bowl week at 4am to mix, master and serve the city their coffee beverages. He, applause please, graduated and got a job as a student & education pastor at a church in Florida! So, they packed up and moved!
Before they left we were able to snag one night during the midst of the packing to photograph this closing chapter in Fort Worth.

It’s not the same at Starbucks without you.
Thank you for letting me capture on film the last bit of The Lanes, in Fort Worth Texas.
